AI Disclosure
Prairie Digital Group’s whole pitch is helping wineries get found, by people and by AI. It would be odd to sell that and stay quiet about how I use these tools myself. So here it is, in plain English.
The short version: AI helps me work faster and check my work. I still read and approve every report and every change to a client’s website before it goes anywhere.
Where AI fits
I spent more than forty years in corporate aviation. A modern autopilot can fly an approach better than most humans on most days, and not one of them is ever the pilot in command. The person in the left seat holds responsibility for every foot of the flight. I run this business the same way.
AI tools help me:
- gather the research behind a Visibility Audit, which used to take days of hand-searching
- draft reports and website copy, which I then edit, fact-check, and rewrite where needed
- diagnose technical problems on WordPress sites and propose fixes
- keep current on how search engines and AI assistants decide which businesses to recommend
Everything on that list ends the same way: I read the output and decide whether it’s right.
On your website
No AI tool has standing permission to change a client’s site. When AI helps me diagnose a problem or write a fix, I review the change, and I apply it. Nothing runs automatically, and nothing publishes itself.
What I won’t do
I won’t publish AI-generated content that no human has read, on your site or on mine. I won’t let AI invent statistics, reviews, or testimonials; if a number appears in a PDG report, it traces to a real source. And I don’t feed clients’ private business information into AI tools that use it for training.
Why tell you this
You’re trusting me with the front door of your business. You deserve to know who is working on it, and with what. Used honestly, AI lets a one-person firm deliver work that used to take a team. Honesty is why this page exists.
In that spirit: AI helped me draft this page. I edited and approved every word.
