Accessibility Statement
Prairie Digital Group wants every visitor to be able to use this website. That is not a legal formality for us. Digital accessibility is one of the services we provide to wineries, and it is personal: accessibility has shaped how our founder moves through the world for most of his life.
Our standard
This site is built and maintained against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. That is the same standard we use when we inspect client websites.
What we do to meet it
- Semantic page structure with a logical heading outline on every page
- Full keyboard operability, including the navigation menu and all forms
- A color palette checked against WCAG contrast requirements, including the harder cases like gold text on light backgrounds
- Text alternatives for meaningful images
- Labeled, accessible forms
- Testing with keyboard-only navigation and the VoiceOver screen reader
Accessibility here is maintained, not audited once. It is part of the same written discipline that governs everything else we do. You can read more about that in our Standard of Care.
Where we are honest about limits
No website is perfectly accessible for every person in every situation, and we will not claim this one is. This site changes as we add content, and each change is an opportunity for something to slip. When we find an issue, we fix it. When you find one first, we want to know.
Tell us if you hit a barrier
If any part of this site is difficult for you to use, please email [email protected]. You will hear back from a person, not a ticket system. We will work to fix the barrier promptly, and if you need any information from this site in a different format in the meantime, we will provide it.
