The Visibility Audit
Find out why customers aren't finding you.
A written inspection of how your winery gets found, gets trusted, and sells direct...delivered as a dated Inspection Record with a prioritized roadmap and findings you can check yourself.
Why an audit, and why a paid one
Most wineries run their digital presence the way they’d never run their cellar: on gut feel, with no instrumentation. Industry-wide, only 8% of winery decision-makers rely primarily on reports from their own systems, and more lean on a hand-kept spreadsheet than on anything their software tells them. (InnoVint, 2026 State of Winery Health Report.)
The audit is the trusted outside read this industry mostly goes without. It’s not a script-generated PDF and not a sales document dressed up as a diagnostic. It’s a written document showing what’s working, what’s costing you visitors and orders, and what to fix first, with the evidence attached.
What the audit covers
Eight sections, that are organized around three questions: can people find you, do they trust what they find, and does the site actually convert?
Findable
Search visibility, Google Business Profile, local citations, indexing.
Trustworthy
Reviews, third-party mentions, brand signals, SSL and site security.
Conversion-ready
Checkout flow, club signup, reservations, mobile experience.
Content
Copy quality, imagery, information architecture.
Speed & performance
Load times, measured against the direct-to-consumer revenue path.
Accessibility baseline
A WCAG 2.2 AA baseline check. (The full code-level inspection is a separate service.)
Competitor benchmark
Two or three peer wineries in your region, compared honestly.
Roadmap
Prioritized recommendations with rough effort and expected impact.
Two sizes

Full Visibility Audit
$2,500
The standard offer for wineries with an established operation. Everything, benchmarked, and walked through with you live.
- All eight sections
- Competitor benchmarking (2–3 peers)
- Live walkthrough of the findings
- Written Inspection Record
- Fee credits 100% toward remediation
What you receive
The Inspection Record itself: dated, written, and specific. Every finding can be checked yourself. If a finding says your Google Business Profile is missing hours, you can look. If it says a competitor outranks you for “wineries near [your town],” you can search. The audit is only as good as its accuracy, so accuracy is the deliverable.
The record is yours to keep, and if you ever sell the winery or hand it to the next generation, it travels with the property.
The Inspection Record
- Dated and written…not a script export
- Findings you can verify yourself
- Prioritized roadmap with effort and impact
- Travels with the property if you ever sell
You don't pay twice
If you have PDG fix what the audit found, the audit fee credits 100% against remediation. The audit is the diagnosis; the remediation is the repair. Both are priced separately, but the diagnostic fee offsets the first dollar of the fix.
What happens after
Remediation is quoted from the roadmap. You choose which findings to fund, in what order. Some are quick wins, some are longer projects, and some you may reasonably decide not to tackle at all. There's no fixed package to push.
Where the free call fits
The free visibility call always comes first. It’s a 20–30-minute, live on your actual site, with one or two concrete gaps pointed out on the spot. It’s how we both figure out whether an audit is the right next step. Some wineries need one. Some need a specific fix. Some need a Care Plan. If the audit isn’t right for you, that’s what you’ll hear.
